Bronzeville Educator Identified After Lake Michigan Recovery
The body of Linda Brown, 53, a Healy Elementary special-education teacher who had been missing since Jan. 3, was recovered from Lake Michigan. Brown’s blue car was found earlier near 35th Street and Lake Park Avenue. A cause of death has not been released by the medical examiner, and officials, along with Brown’s family and school community, are mourning her loss while the investigation continues.
