Private equity firm Thoma Bravo is in advanced talks to acquire health records software company NextGen Healthcare for $1.3 billion. The deal could be announced this week, although discussions are still ongoing and could fall through. NextGen had attracted interest from other buyout firms before talks accelerated with Thoma Bravo.
