Sonic Superstars: Release Date Speculations and LEGO Announcement.

Sonic Superstars is set to release on October 17, just three days before Super Mario Bros Wonder, according to listings on US retailers Target and GameStop. Both games feature traditional side-scrolling 2D gameplay and co-op play for up to four players. Sonic Superstars lets players control Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy Rose and is being developed by Arzest. Super Mario Bros Wonder is the first entirely new 2D Mario adventure in 11 years and features the Wonder Flower gimmick. Target's listing notes that Sonic Superstars' pre-order bonus will be a Lego Eggman in-game character skin, an acrylic display stand, and a reversible game cover.
