WWE, in partnership with Haslam Sports Group and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, announced that Cleveland will host the 2024 SummerSlam event at Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 3. The event will include Friday Night SmackDown and various fan and community events. This marks the first time SummerSlam will be held in Cleveland since 1996. The announcement comes after last year's record-setting SummerSlam. Ticket information will be announced in the coming months, and fans can register for pre-sale opportunities. Jimmy and Dee Haslam have been approved as co-owners of the Milwaukee Bucks by the NBA board of governors, after purchasing Marc Lasry's 25% share for $800 million. The Haslam Sports Group joins Wes Edens and Jamie Dinan in taking control of the Bucks, Fiserv Forum, Sports Science Center, the Wisconsin Herd, and Bucks Gaming. The Bucks franchise is now valued at $3.2 billion. The Haslam Sports Group also owns the Cleveland Browns of the NFL and co-owns the Columbus Crew of the MLS.
