Colts Acknowledge FBI Probe Tied to Irsay Death
The Indianapolis Colts said they are aware of an FBI investigation into the death of longtime owner Jim Irsay, but they have not been contacted by authorities. The Washington Post report cited a federal grand jury subpoena and says investigators are examining Irsay’s prescription and illicit drug use and his relationship with recovery doctor Harry Haroutunian. Irsay died in May 2025 at 65 from cardiac arrest linked to pneumonia and heart problems, with no autopsy performed; the FBI declined to comment.
