Republican AGs Express Concerns Over Target's LGBTQIA+ Pride Campaign, Citing Potential Violations of Child-Protection Laws
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, along with attorneys general from 7 other states, has expressed legal concern over Target's 'LGBTQIA+ Pride' campaign, claiming that it is damaging their states' efforts to protect citizens. Rokita specifically criticized Target for promoting potentially harmful products to minors, including swimsuits with "tuck-friendly construction" and merchandise with designs that glorify violence. He also accused Target of selling products with "anti-Christian designs." Target had previously faced backlash and bomb threats for their Pride Month merchandise, leading to the removal of some items from their stores.
