Vornado has recalled approximately 2 million handheld garment steamers due to a potential burn hazard, with 23 reported burn injuries. The steamers, sold under Vornado, Steamfast, and Sharper Image brands, have the potential to expel hot water from the steam nozzle, posing a serious risk to consumers. Consumers are advised to stop using the steamers and contact Vornado for a refund or replacement. The affected steamers were sold at various retailers from July 2009 through January 2024, and the recall includes specific model numbers.
