"Kenny Pickett and Alex Highsmith stand out at Steelers minicamp while some players are absent"
The Pittsburgh Steelers minicamp started on Tuesday, and Kenny Pickett shined during the practice. Pickett's pocket presence and ability to extend plays impressed his teammates, and he commanded a two-minute drive that ended in a touchdown for the offense. Hakeem Butler also flashed his potential with a fantastic leaping contested catch down the sideline. Tight end Rodney Williams made a stellar catch over the middle of the field and has improved as a blocker. Rookies Nick Herbig and Keeanu Benton are staying at one spot for now, but Benton's athleticism and frame give him the flexibility to play outside of nose tackle. The team also implemented situational football scenarios during the minicamp.
