Tragic Iowa Pickup Truck Collision Claims Bicyclist's Life
Wayne Wesley Hayes, 69, of Guthrie Center, died after being hit by a pickup while riding a bike on Highway 44 near Guthrie Center. The cyclist was towing a bicycle buggy at the time of the crash, and no other injuries were reported. Iowa State Patrol troopers are investigating the incident.
