Governors Take Action for Gun Safety Initiatives in NC and CA.
The NC Safe Initiative, a program aimed at safely storing weapons, has been launched by Governor Cooper in an effort to reduce gun violence. The initiative includes distributing 25,000 gun locks and 200 safes, as well as social media and TV ads. Law enforcement officials urge the public to remove the magazine and use a gun lock if guns are left in the car.
