Nick Jonas revealed on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast that a "really tragic guitar solo debacle" during a duet with Kelsea Ballerini at the 2016 ACM Awards sent him to therapy. Jonas hit a wrong note and blacked out on stage, causing him to put pressure on himself to be perfect. He has since learned to not pressure himself too much and has no hard feelings with Ballerini, as they have since performed together on tour.
