Hyperkin announced the Drakong InfinaKore, a versatile guitar controller compatible with multiple platforms including Xbox 360, iOS, and Android, designed primarily for Fortnite Festival but also supporting other guitar games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. It features swappable buttons, directional keys for easier fret tapping, and a star power button, with no release date or price announced yet.
PDP will release a new wireless guitar controller, the Riffmaster, compatible with PS5, PS4 for use with Fortnite Festival and Rock Band 4, featuring up to 36 hours of battery life, a thumbstick, and left and right-handed support, with a 3.5mm audio jack. It can be folded for storage, and while the price is yet to be announced, it will be compatible with Rock Band 4 out of the box and with an upcoming patch for Fortnite Festival.
Fortnite Festival, a game developed by Harmonix and launched in the battle royale, is set to receive instrument controller support next year, as peripheral manufacturer PDP teases the release of a guitar controller. While the game currently does not support instrument controllers, publisher Epic Games confirmed that it is a priority and actively being worked on. Players can look forward to reliving the days of Rock Band and Guitar Hero in Fortnite Festival.
