Four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins will sign with the Guaynabo Mets of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional, the Puerto Rican professional basketball league, in an attempt to make his way back to the NBA. Cousins has not played in the NBA since the 2021-22 season due to injuries and problematic behavior. He is the second star player to sign with a league outside the NBA in recent months, following Dwight Howard's signing with Taiwan's top basketball league.
