A Swiss Airlines plane departed from Zurich to Bilbao without any of its passengers' checked bags due to a shortage of ground staff. Passengers waited for over two hours at the conveyor belt before being informed that their bags were left behind. The flight crew decided to fly without the bags for operational reasons. The bags are being flown to Bilbao, but no arrival time has been specified. This is not the first incident of a plane departing without passengers' bags.
