Georgia Sheriff Pleads Guilty to Groping TV Judge Hatchett, Resigns
Georgia sheriff Kristopher Coody pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery for groping TV judge Glenda Hatchett during a law enforcement conference last year. Coody resigned from his position as Bleckley County sheriff and was sentenced to one year of probation, a $500 fine, and 400 hours of community service. Hatchett, an Atlanta attorney and star of reality courtroom shows, expressed her distress over the incident, stating that it had deeply affected her.
