Westwood Grocery Crash Kills Three, Injures Four
A driver in a silver Toyota Prius lost control and rammed into the bakery area of 99 Ranch Market in Westwood, Los Angeles, killing three people (a 55-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man) and sending four others to the hospital (two in critical condition and two in fair condition). The crash occurred around 12:10 p.m. near UCLA. The cyclist and the driver declined medical treatment and were not hospitalized. LAPD and LAFD responders assessed the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
