Weber Pulls 3.2 Million Grilling Brushes Over Bristle Ingestion Hazard
Weber is recalling about 3.2 million metal wire bristle grill brushes (models 6277, 6278, 6463, 6464, 6493, 6494) sold 2011–2026 due to small bristles detaching and posing an ingestion and internal-injury risk. The company offers a replacement nylon-bristle brush; consumers should stop using and discard the recalled brushes. Brushes were sold at Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Target, Amazon, and Weber.com; manufactured in China and Cambodia; recall number 26-282; at least 38 reports including 4 swallowed bristles.
