Gordon Murray Automotive has unveiled the T.33 Spider, a new convertible supercar featuring a naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 607 horsepower and 333 pound-feet of torque. The car has two removable roof panels made from lightweight carbon composite, which can be stowed in the front luggage compartment when not in use. The T.33 Spider also features GMA's Passive Boundary Layer Control system, which increases downforce without increasing drag. Only 100 examples of the T.33 Spider will be produced, with pricing yet to be announced.

The T.33 Spider weighs just 2,443 lbs (1,108 kg) thanks to carbon fiber body panels and offers the same torsional rigidity and stiffness as the fixed-top T.33 Coupe. Only 100 units will be produced, with prices starting at £1.89 million ($2.36 million USD), and the car will be built at GMA’s new headquarters in Highams Park.
