Google bids farewell to yet another product after 10 years.
Google is set to discontinue the Google Now Launcher this month, according to code found by 9to5Google. The launcher was previously used for the Nexus line of phones and was available for other brands. However, it was pulled from the Play Store in 2018 and declared incompatible with almost every Android device. The Pixel Launcher has since taken over as the home screen experience for Google phones, and there are now many other launcher options available. Users of the Google Now Launcher will need to switch to a different launcher before it stops working in April.
