The Good News Burgers shuts down two San Antonio stores.
The Good News Burgers has closed two of its locations in San Antonio due to obstacles in restructuring, including non-negotiable lease agreements. The burger chain will focus on its remaining locations, one on the city's Westside and a newer spot in North Star Mall's food court. The closures come after the chain was forced to rebrand from Papa's Burgers due to a cease-and-desist letter from Houston-based Pappas Restaurants.
