U.S. U-17 MYNT Announces Roster for 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup
U.S. Under-17 Men's Youth National Team head coach Gonzalo Segares has announced the 21-player roster for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. The team will face Korea Republic, Burkina Faso, and France in the group stage. This will be the United States' 18th appearance in the tournament, tied with Brazil for the most all-time. The roster includes players from various clubs, including 10 from Major League Soccer. The U-17s will train in Bali before heading to Jakarta for the group stage matches. The U-17 World Cup has been a launching pad for future senior USMNT stars, with 38 players from previous U-17 World Cup rosters going on to be capped by the senior team.
