
Toronto Airport Gold Heist: Suspect Arrested as Police Seek Two Fugitives
A man tied to Canada’s largest gold heist, Arsalan Chaudhary, 43, was arrested at Toronto Pearson after arriving from Dubai, as police seek two more suspects in the April 2023 theft of roughly 400 kg of gold and CAD 2.5 million in cash from the airport; authorities say the gold was worth over CAD 20 million and have identified 10 people in the case, with extradition efforts ongoing for Simran Preet Panesar and a bench warrant for Prasath Paramalingam.
