Ólafur Darri Ólafsson Taps Thor for Amazon’s God of War Series
Ólafur Darri Ólafsson has been cast as Thor in Amazon Prime Video’s God of War series, joining a cast led by Ryan Hurst as Kratos with Max Parker and Teresa Palmer also aboard. The adaptation, based on Sony's PlayStation game, has a two-season order and is in pre-production in Vancouver, with Ronald D. Moore as showrunner and Tall Ship Productions producing alongside Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios, PlayStation Productions, and others.
