The upgrade to GNOME 45 brings changes such as an Activities Indicator and improved search performance. The 6.5 kernel provides faster boot times, support for Xbox controllers' rumble haptic feedback, and improved AppArmor policies. Additionally, Personal Package Archives (PPAs) are now handled differently.

"GNOME 45 Introduces Modern Full-Height Sidebar Layout for Nautilus File Manager"

The upcoming GNOME 45 desktop environment will introduce new features to the Nautilus file manager, including a modern full-height sidebar layout named "Places" and expanded search scope with "Search Everywhere" buttons.
