Kim Stephens, former head coach of Glenville State's women's basketball program, has been named the new head coach of Marshall Women's Basketball. Stephens, a native of Parkersburg, played college basketball at Glenville and later went on to become the Pioneers’ head coach. She finished with a 191-24 career record at Glenville. Stephens will work under a seven-year deal at Marshall.

Marshall University has appointed Kim Stephens as the new head coach of its women's basketball program. Stephens, who has signed a seven-year deal, comes to Marshall from Division II Glenville State, where she turned the Pioneers into a national power in her seven seasons, compiling a combined record of 191-24. She will lead the Thundering Herd in its quest for championships in the Sun Belt Conference.
