Tragedy in Wisconsin: Details and Identities Released in Fatal Police Shooting.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice has released new details on the shooting incident that left two police officers and the suspect dead in Barron County. The officers, Chetek Police Officer Emily Breidenbach and Cameron Police Officer Hunter Scheel, pulled over Glenn Douglas Perry, 50, due to a warrant and concerning behavior. During the traffic stop, Perry, who was armed, exchanged gunfire with the officers, resulting in the deaths of Breidenbach and Scheel. Perry died at the hospital. Funeral arrangements for the officers are pending.
