Ridley Scott and Paul Mescal Gear Up for 'Gladiator III'
Ridley Scott has shared his vision for 'Gladiator III,' which will follow the events of 'Gladiator II' where Lucius, played by Paul Mescal, gains power after defeating the villainous Macrinus. Scott plans to draw inspiration from 'The Godfather Part II,' focusing on Lucius's reluctance to embrace his new role. Although Scott has already begun developing the sequel, it won't be produced immediately as he is set to direct a Bee Gees biopic in 2025. Paul Mescal has expressed interest in reprising his role for the sequel.
