Giant grocery store employee arrested for tampering with food using sewing needles.
A former employee of Giant Food Store in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, is accused of putting sewing needles in bagged vegetables, Tasty-Kake packages, and some dog and cat foods. The tampering was discovered after customers started returning items with needles stuck inside. No injuries were reported, and all affected food has been removed from shelves.
