Lufthansa employees, represented by trade union Verdi, have initiated a strike, leading to the cancellation of the majority of flights at seven German airports, affecting over 100,000 passengers. The industrial action, aimed at pressuring Lufthansa's management to raise pay and provide a bonus, has caused significant disruptions at airports, with the strike set to conclude on Wednesday morning. Lufthansa has advised affected customers to refrain from coming to the airport, as only 10 to 20% of its flight schedule can be accommodated during the strike.
