Tragic murder-suicide claims lives of former Red Sox star's son and grandson.
The son and grandson of former Boston Red Sox player George "Boomer" Scott were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in their Massachusetts home. The boy's mother, who has been missing for over four years, is considered a "person of interest" in her disappearance. The discovery of the bodies comes weeks after a search warrant was executed at the same home in connection to the missing woman.
