George "Funky" Brown, drummer and founding member of Kool & The Gang, has passed away at the age of 74. Brown co-wrote many of the group's biggest hits, including "Celebration" and "Ladies Night." Kool & The Gang paid tribute to him, describing him as "the funkiest drummer the world has ever seen." Brown's talent and presence will be greatly missed.
