Apple is reportedly looking to add another supplier for the periscope camera system in the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is expected to offer a 5-6x optical zoom. While Largan Precision was previously thought to be the sole supplier, industry sources now suggest that Genius Electronic Optical (GSEO) has also been identified as a supplier. Apple analyst Kuo believes that the periscope lens used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also be used in the iPhone 16 Pro models in 2024.
