Ohio woman's remains identified 43 years after being found in Nevada.
Human remains found in a garment bag in a remote area of Nevada in 1978 have been identified as belonging to Florence Charleston, a woman from Cleveland who had lost touch with her family by that year. The remains were heavily decayed, and the cause of death could not be determined. State investigators employed Othram Inc. for advanced testing and a genealogy search, which led to her identification. The investigation into Charleston's death is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Nevada State Police investigators.
