Great Falls Standoff Suspect Connected to Recent Homicide and Pursuit
The Great Falls Police Department is currently in a standoff with an individual, causing First Avenue North to be blocked off between 28th and 29th Street. Officers are negotiating with the person inside a house, and some officers are wearing gas masks. The reason for the standoff is currently unknown. As a precaution, nearby schools have implemented shelter-in-place procedures. Drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
