
Stafford tops PFWA awards as Smith-Njigba and Garrett claim major honors
Stafford was named the PFWA's 2025 NFL MVP after leading the league in passing yards (4,707) and touchdowns (46); Jaxon Smith-Njigba earned Offensive Player of the Year with 1,793 receiving yards, and Myles Garrett won Defensive Player of the Year after setting the single-season sack record with 23. This marks Stafford's first PFWA MVP, Smith-Njigba's first major award for Seattle, and Garrett's second DPOTY honor for the Browns.
