Garden State Plaza Mall Implements Chaperone Policy for Minors.
Garden State Plaza, New Jersey's second-largest mall, will require adult chaperones for anyone under 18 on Friday and Saturday nights due to disruptive behavior by a small minority of younger visitors. The policy takes effect on April 28 and applies to minors visiting the mall after 5 p.m. on those two nights of the week. The policy is indefinite and covers the entire mall property, inside and outside. Restaurants and department stores may have their own policies.
