"Ubisoft's Prince of Persia Character Gets Text-to-Speech Voice Mishap"
Ubisoft's upcoming game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, features an NPC named Kalux voiced by a text-to-speech program, while all other NPCs have human voice actors. Ubisoft has acknowledged the mistake and plans to release a patch in late January or February 2024 to replace the AI voiceover with a human voice for Kalux. This incident raises questions about whether it was an intentional test by Ubisoft or a genuine error. This isn't the first time Ubisoft has faced technical issues, as last year an advertisement interrupted gameplay in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
