Deloitte's 17th annual Digital Media Trends study found that 45% of consumers surveyed want more games based on their favorite movies and TV shows. The survey also revealed that gaming has become an important form of socialization for many gamers, with 62% of "committed gamers" saying that meeting up with friends in video games is an important way to spend time together. Additionally, 40% of millennials and Gen Z respondents said that they socialize more in video games than in the real world.
