Ubisoft has partnered with OWO to release an Assassin's Creed Mirage edition haptic feedback shirt that promises to provide "exclusive sensations never felt before" during gameplay. The shirt includes haptic points on the chest, stomach, lower back, and arms, and uses an algorithm to simulate interactions such as parkour and impacts. It can be calibrated for specific games or customized by the user. The pricing and release date are yet to be announced, but the haptic shirt will be compatible with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This collaboration comes as wearable haptics for gaming are gaining traction, especially with the upcoming release of mixed reality headsets.
