Peanut Butter, a Shiba Inu trained by his owner JSR, is set to become the world's first dog speedrunner at the Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) event, where he will attempt to set a record playing Gyromite. JSR, an experienced speedrunner and Twitch streamer, has trained Peanut Butter using a custom-built controller and food motivation. Although the dog will not attend the event in person due to logistical challenges, his speedrun will be showcased in a new category created for dog-assisted playthroughs. The event aims to raise funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and highlights the speedrunning community's creativity and camaraderie.
