The gameplay premiere of Mortal Kombat 1 will be presented by NetherRealm Studios head, Ed Boon, during Summer Game Fest on June 8. The game is the first entry of the new timeline following the events of Mortal Kombat 11 and features Kameo Fighters, a new feature described as a unique roster of partner fighters that aid players during matches. The game is set to launch on September 19.
