Microsoft is removing six games from the Game Pass library on April 30, including NHL 22, 7 Days to Die, Loot River, and more. Game Pass members can save 20% on digital games in the catalog before they leave. Additionally, new titles like Harold Halibut and Orcs Must Die 3 are coming to Game Pass in the remaining weeks of April.
Square Enix has discussed the possibility of removing numbers from Final Fantasy game titles, according to Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida. He suggested that using numbers in mainline series entries could be off-putting for new players, who might think they need to have played the previous games to enjoy the latest one. Yoshida said that removing numbers from the title would make it easier to understand for new players. Final Fantasy 16 will be released for PlayStation 5 on June 22.
