Pokémon’s 30th anniversary gets nostalgic with a Game Boy jukebox
To mark Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company unveiled the Pokémon Game Music Collection—a palm-sized Game Boy–shaped music player that can load 45 cartridge-style melodies from the series’ earliest games; each cartridge shows a screenshot, and it was announced by Junichi Masuda during a livestream. It goes on sale at Pokémon Center today, though US pricing hasn’t been confirmed.
