Takashi Murakami: Reviving Japanese Art with AI Innovation

Activist Artist Lauren Halsey Joins Gagosian Gallery

Lauren Halsey, an artist known for her activism and community-focused work, has joined Gagosian Gallery, one of the largest art galleries with 19 spaces worldwide. Halsey's first show with Gagosian will open in Paris next year, followed by an institutional exhibition in London in 2024. She will continue to be represented by David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles. Halsey's work explores issues of race, culture, and her South Central Los Angeles neighborhood, combining seriousness with elegance and imagination. Gagosian supports Halsey's policy of ensuring her art sells to collectors of color, and she is excited to be part of the gallery's roster, which includes other Black artists.
