Timbers and Nashville SC make moves in 2024 MLS SuperDraft

The Portland Timbers have selected winger Kyle Linhares from Georgetown University in the second round and forward Gage Guerra from the University of Louisville in the third round of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft. The team acquired allocation money from Nashville SC in exchange for their 11th overall pick. Linhares made 76 appearances for Georgetown, scoring seven goals and providing 18 assists, while Guerra finished the 2023 season with seven goals for Louisville.
