Kings acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois in multi-player trade with Jets.
The Winnipeg Jets have traded center Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Los Angeles Kings for forwards Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, and a 2024 second-round pick. Dubois, who had 27 goals and 63 points for Winnipeg last season, will sign an eight-year deal with an $8.5 million annual average value with Los Angeles. The Kings hope Dubois can help them win now and in the future, while the Jets receive a quality package of players who can help them now and in the future. The Jets still need to sort out Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele's futures, while the Kings must turn their attention to the net.
