"Mercedes G500 V8 Final Edition: The Ultimate Eight-Cylinder Epilogue"
Mercedes is bidding farewell to the V8 engine in the G500 with the release of the Final Edition, marking the end of three decades of the brawny V8 in the G-Class. Limited to 500 units, the Final Edition features unique exterior details, including "Final Edition" decals, chrome contour for the spare wheel cover, and 20-inch AMG wheels. The interior is adorned with Nappa leather, "Final Edition" lettering, and comes with a Burmester surround sound system. Under the hood, the Final Edition retains the twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine, producing 416 horsepower and 610 Newton-meters of torque. Mercedes will produce these final V8-powered G500 units from September 2023 to March 2024, while also developing an electric version, the EQG, on the same platform.
