Nearly 50,000 NovaForm mattresses sold exclusively at Costco have been recalled due to the risk of potential mold exposure. Manufacturer FXI Inc. announced the recall, stating that the mattresses may have been exposed to water during manufacturing, leading to mold development. Mold exposure can pose health risks, particularly for individuals with mold allergies or compromised immune systems. Customers who purchased the recalled mattresses have been advised to contact FXI for a full refund or free replacement, including pickup and disposal of the affected mattress. The mattresses were sold between January and June 2023 in northwestern states and the San Francisco Bay area.
