Jason Derulo Faces Lawsuit for Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Against Aspiring Singer
Jason Derulo has been sued by artist Emaza Gibson for quid pro quo sexual harassment, breach of contract, and intimidation. Gibson alleges that Derulo promised to launch her career under his Future History label but demanded sex in exchange for success. She also claims that Derulo became angry and aggressive during recording sessions and meetings. Gibson's concerns were dismissed by Atlantic Records, and her partnership with Future History was terminated. She is seeking damages for lost wages and benefits, as well as attorney fees. Derulo denies the allegations.
