Steve Bannon's trial for fundraising fraud related to the "We Build The Wall" campaign has been set for May 27, 2024. Bannon has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of conspiracy, money laundering, and scheme to defraud. Prosecutors allege that Bannon and others defrauded donors by diverting hundreds of thousands of dollars to themselves. Bannon was first indicted on federal charges in 2020 but was pardoned by former President Donald Trump. The Manhattan district attorney's office and New York attorney general's office announced state charges against Bannon last summer.
